The Smiles Foundation has been providing care throughout the state since 2001.  The primary treatment model is Texas Mission of Mercy. The foundation has large amounts of portable dental equipment and goes to both metropolitan and rural areas. From Cactus, Texas to McAllen and El Paso to Texarkana.  There have been more than 80 of these events since the inception of the program. More than 48,000 patients have been treated for a value of over $34 million.
