The Capital Area Dental Society (“CADS”) was founded in 1924 with the goals of uniting dentists of the Greater Austin area encompassing five counties for the advancement of the profession and for effective service to the community. CADS is the local component of a tripartite organization consisting of The Texas Dental Association and The American Dental Association.
The CADS Mission
The Capital Area Dental Society will be the foundation of professional growth by creating opportunities for volunteerism, mentorship, education, advocacy and friendship.
Currently, the Capital Area Dental Society has over 600 members and is one of the most active and respected dental societies in the country. Organized Dentistry through ADA membership is currently under attack by people who don't understand the value of uniting together to form a coalition to protect our professional future.
We are a PACE approved program provider, meaning that you may earn continuing education credits by attending certain programs that we sponsor throughout the year.
