The October President’s message is very simple: Attend the General Meeting on October 16!
This month, brought back by popular demand, is Table Clinic Night at the general meeting. Many of our fellow CADS dentists will be presenting tips and techniques, clinical procedures, and will share their knowledge. This is an interactive meeting, and this is what organized dentistry is all about: A meeting
focused upon learning and sharing, earning continuing education credits, and receiving a tasty meal. This is your meeting, so be there!
Last year at Table Clinic Night I was both surprised and pleased to see members that had not attended a meeting in over a decade. For those of you that fit this description…I look forward to seeing you again! The response from both younger and older (seasoned) dentists was overwhelming positive, and the consensus was to “do it again”. So here it is!
There are some wonderful educational presentations and speakers scheduled for future monthly meetings. Keep an eye on the STAR, as well as the CADS web page, for the calendar of events. Upcoming educational experiences also include the CADS Study Club, and other events (less education but more fun and social with your dentist friends).
The Capital Area Dental Society is your professional organization, and it will continue be great as long as you participate. Share your ideas and suggestions with the CADS Board. We welcome hearing your comments and getting to know you. Get involved with organized dentistry!
