The Holidays will be upon us by the time you read this message. Wow, time seems to be passing faster and faster!

 

The first half of my tenure as your President seems to have gone by without a hitch. It has been a good year so far for CADS. I had an objective for this year to see an increase in membership of 10%, which is a lofty goal. The good news is we have reached the goal for the 2006 calendar year at 55 new members! Since June 1^st, the beginning of our fiscal year, we have had 30 new members join our society. Please help keep the momentum going by inviting new, as well as the old, non-member dentists to CADS functions and meetings. The General Meeting attendance has been averaging 130. Thanks to our speakers in November, Drs. Bill Robbins and Jeff Rouse, we had 150 attendees at the General Meeting, which may be a CADS record! Thanks to Dr. Gene Hassell, our President-Elect, we have had a strong list of meeting speakers and it looks positive for the remainder of the year. Sponsorship, which helps subsidize our meetings, has been outstanding this year thanks to the continual efforts of our Executive Director, Nancy Nisbett.
