First, Stan served as Assistant Editor and then was elected as Treasurer, Secretary, President-Elect, and President. During this time he has worked tirelessly initiating programs such as the DOC program. He has served as an Alternate Delegate or Delegate to the Texas Dental Association each year since 2003. He has been awarded four Presidential Service Awards from past CADS Presidents.

Stan was our first webmaster and was instrumental in the development of the site. He created a New Member packet that is given to all new CADS members outlining the organization, its benefits, and its opportunities.

Other areas of service to the community include serving two years as Dentistry Merit Badge Counselor (2008 & 2009) for the Boy Scouts of America. He has participated in numerous Texas Mission of Mercy and Smiles on Wheels, in-state dental missions with the Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation. He is a Donated Dental Services Volunteer Dentist and has seen patients from this program regularly since 2003. Stan spent many hours of service with the Theo Project, the Lanier Project, and Swinging for Smiles Golf Tournaments associated with our long time collaborative partner, St. David
