The Capital Area Dental Foundation is proud to announce the election of the following as Trustees: Ms. Lyda Molanphy, Mr. Norman Gelfand, Ms. Renee Mikkalson and Dr. Bill Hyden. Mrs. Meg Hulse and Dr. Eric Hollander were elected to the Advisory Board.

We welcome this talented group of individuals and are excited about their enthusiasm to serve. The Trustees serve 3-year terms. Dr. Alan Moore and Dr. Barry Rouch rotated off the Board and were re-elected to new terms.

GMH is a national newsletter dedicated to healthcare grants and is a part of DentaQuest Foundation located in Boston, Massachusetts. In its February newsletter, the following text appeared:

■ St. David's Community Healthcare Foundation (Austin, TX) has partnered with the Capital Area Dental Society (Austin, TX) and Capital Area Dental Foundation (Austin, TX) to launch a community-wide oral health education event, Dentists on Campus. Throughout the month of February 28 local dentists and dental hygienists will volunteer their time to visit more than 20 area schools. During these visits, they will teach oral health education classes to students in third grade in select Title I schools.
