A Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) is a large multi-day dental mission that brings hundreds of dentists and other dental professionals and community volunteers from across Texas together. The goal is to relieve immediate pain and restore smiles. Texas Mission of Mercy is one of the several programs of the Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation.

 

Your Capital Area Dental Society and Capital Area Dental Foundation will be major contributors to this charitable event.

 

Since Taylor is only 35 miles from Austin, dentists and community volunteers from our area are necessary to make the mission a success. A core group of dentists can be found at all TMOMs but they cannot do this alone. If you have participated in the past, we know we can count on you. If you haven’t had the experience of providing basic dental care to those in desperate need while working side-by-side with your colleagues, you will find this a very rewarding experience. The folks in your offices will also enjoy the experience so make sure to include them as well.
