Thanks to the dozens of local dentists that took time out of their practices to attend the TDA Legislative Day. I found this one to be the best organized yet. It is most important that we show up in numbers and I had several key people at the Capitol remark that our turnout is much better than other professional organizations. Yes, they do notice. Included in this issue of the Capital Star is a summary of the day.
The Capital Area Dental Foundation has retained the services of Ms. Victoria Corcoran as a development consultant. She will be interviewing the members of the Board of the Foundation, the Advisory Board, and key CADS leaders so that she can help us finely tune our mission and objectives. We will use this information in a retreat to define our direction and develop an action plan to advance the work of the Foundation.
