Capital Area Dental Foundation is Working for You
The Executive Board of the Capital Dental Foundation met on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 to discuss the development of a personal enrichment program for interested members of the Capital Area Dental Society. It is our vision to become the resource for our members, especially those in the early stages of practice, for programs on specific topics of interest that will enhance their practices, their personal lives as well as their future involvement in their community. Whether learning how to communicate more effectively, strengthening interpersonal relationships, or better understanding the nuts and bolts of profit and loss statements and balance sheets, we are committed to finding what topics are of interest to you and then delivering.
Our intent is to begin with a pilot program including topics of interest conducted by experts in their respective areas of expertise.
We will hold a meeting including invited guests in an effort to zero in on the specific topics as part of developing the program. Once the pilot program has been implemented successfully, we intend to expand the number of topics and increase the number of participants. We envision a full-scale curriculum that will not only enrich the lives of the participants, but may even produce the future leaders of our society as well as our community. If you are interested in any aspect of this endeavor, we would like to hear from you! You can call Dr. Leonard Dolce at 633-2268, Dr. Kavin Kelp at 306-0115, Dr. Stan LaCroix at 327-5210, Dr. Jackie Vo at 345-4998, or Dr. Barry Rouch at 338-1118.
The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. May 19, 2008 at the Board Room, 7800 N. MoPac Expressway. Food and drink provided.
We are excited about the progress of the Foundation and are eagerly awaiting notification from the IRS on the 501(c)(3) designation.
Respectfully submitted,
